Greek Islands,

I lived my dream traveling to the Greek islands, we traveled to Athens, Mykonos, Katakolon and Santorini!  I woke up every single morning is complete awe of these islands.  One of the pictures posted is from Santorini while I was sitting at a cafe at sunset... I did not speak, I was mesmerized.  Excursions, shopping, lots of walking, eating, and just living in the moment!  I viewed many pictures in lifetime of Santorini, but nothing compared or did justice to seeing it in person.

I rented a jeep in Mykonos and saw the entire island - tons of pictures, had lunch by a waterside cafe.  The food was so delicious.  The water was stunning, and people were smiling and enjoying life... having a gyro in true Greek fashion was a must and it did not disappoint.  I had the best calamari ever and nothing has ever compared.  I saw yachts in Mykonos that I have never seen in person... it is a quaint and lovely island in all its beauty.

Athens did not disappoint; I was surprised as to how commercialized they have become but it is certainly a tourist destination.  The architecture was stunning... again, just in awe! I took so many pictures, took in every moment and appreciated what was in front of me and yes, curious as to how this all happened long before the technology we have today. 

Katakolon was laid back, the seas were a bit rough to attempt an excursion we really wanted but it turned out okay.. it was a beautiful, serene day.  I did shop quite a bit!

This is another must see bucket list trip and I would personally love to share my experience and recommendations with you!
